Please be advised that the Moodle learning management system will undergo scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 to facilitate the annual system rollover for the upcoming academic year.

- Downtime Window: Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Impact: Moodle will be completely offline and inaccessible during this period.
Important URL Changes Following Maintenance:
- Current Academic Year (Moodle 2025/2026): To access your existing courses (Semesters 1, 2, 3, and Summer) from the 2025/2026 academic year, you must use the archived address: https://moodle2025.uog.edu.gy.
- New Academic Year (Moodle 2026/2027): The primary portal at https://moodle.uog.edu.gy will automatically switch over to the new Moodle 2026/2027 platform once maintenance concludes at 3:00 PM.
Important Notice for Lecturers (Course Backups):
- Before Maintenance: You may conduct course backups prior to 12:00 PM using the primary URL (https://moodle.uog.edu.gy).
- After Maintenance: If you choose to back up courses after the rollover, log into the archived URL (https://moodle2025.uog.edu.gy) to perform the export.
Important Notice for Mobile App Users:
- Following the rollover, the Moodle Mobile App will default to the new academic year system (https://moodle.uog.edu.gy), and you will lose access to 2025/2026 courses on the app's default connection.
- If you have ongoing courses on Moodle 2025/2026, you must open the app, add a new site, and enter https://moodle2025.uog.edu.gy to maintain access to your prior coursework.
Please save active work and log out before Tuesday, August 25, 2026 12:00 PM to prevent data loss.
